MEDITATION ON ONENESS

Beloved mother-father God, Your presence fills me with wonder--the endless variety of all Your magnificent creation--the stars and the seas, the wind through the trees, and in all the big and the small. My greatest desire is to be aware of Your presence of total love every minute. I realize that to accomplish this I must purify my heart and accept the fullness of Your love in my being.

I am the only one who stands in my own way. Hanging onto guilt and fear and not believing in myself are my greatest handicaps. At Your feet I release all my burdens, my fears, my anger and my tears. You are the only one who can heal me. If ever confusion enters my mind, again I surrender it all to You.

I need to feel my mind and heart surrender more to Thee. From this moment on, I choose to allow Your loving kindness to soften the edges of my heart. I allow Your wisdom to brighten my mind and to point out the path I need to walk. In this way my faith will become so firm that no conflicting thoughts can enter my consciousness.

Help me to feel Your loving presence always, in even the smallest fraction of a second. Through every circumstance of my life help me to remember that You know the reason and the higher purpose behind everything that happens. Everything is ultimately Your will. When I humble myself to this fact, my anger and my expectation melt, and I release all my burdens.

May I see with unity--to be aware of You gazing from every pair of eyes. Your love flows through all of us, as we are all Your children. May I see Your goodness and peace everywhere I look and especially inside myself . When I feel Your love within my own heart, all healing takes place, my burdens are lifted, and I am one with all life.

I rededicate my life to being one with Thee, from this moment on, moment by moment. I accept the beauty and the wonder and live knowing, without a doubt, that You are always with me, as close as my heartbeat. Only You are capable of showing me the way of freedom. Shower Your blessings of light and love upon me forever.
